NIRMAAN 2018 inagurated at the SBS campus Ferozepur
The Civil Engineering Department, inaugurated the two-day technical function ‘NIRMAAN-2018’ organized by the โInfra-Tech Society of Civil Engineeringโ at the local technical institute, Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus. Director of campus Dr. T S Sidhu attended the ceremony as the chief guest. The fest was started by the students of the institute by reciting Shabad Gurbani. After this, the ceremony was inaugurated by the lamp lightening . HOD Civil Engg. Deptt. Parampreet Kaur welcomed the chief guest and all the guests present in the fest.
Dr. Sidhu in his address, said that such a function plays an important role in improving employability ย of the students and helps to uplift their ย technical skills. He said that during the two day event, besides the expert lecture, competition of students in technical activities such as Model Making, Visual Presentation, Chess, Photography, Aptitude, Paper Arts, etc.will be held. He congratulated the society incharge Mr. Gurpreet Singh and deptt.head Ms. Parampreet kaur for organizing such a well managed function. Prof. Gurpreet Singh thanked all the guests. On this occasion, Chief Counselor ย Dr. AK Tyagi, Dean Academic Dr. Manjinder Singh, Administrative Officer Gaurav Kumar, all the departmental heads and a large number of students were present.
