Patiala police busted sex racket in the city

Patiala police has busted a sex racket, running in the city, for the last around six months and arrested 7 persons.
As per the information, on a tip off, Civil Lines police station raided a premises of Satnam Kaur , house number 513, Gali number 10, Prem Nagar, Bhadson Road and found 4 women and 3 men on the spot.
As per SHO Civil Lines Patiala, Satnam Kaur is running sex racket and inviting boys / girls to its residential house and collects huge amount of money.
In this illegal activity Sumit Kumar and his wife Mona, resident of B-Tank, Patiala also plays an active role. They bought in the women, men to this place and charge hefty amount and share with Satnam kaur.
The accused were also apprehended on the spot. A case under section 3 (Any person who keeps or manages, or acts or assists in the keeping or management of, a brothel) ,4 (Any person over the age of eighteen years who knowingly lives, wholly or in part, on the earnings of the prostitution ) Immoral Traffic Prevention act 1956 has been registered against Satnam kaur, Sumit kumar and Mona at Civil Lines Police station.
