Police DAV honoured Teachers for excellent result
Patiala- Police DAV Public School Patiala celebrated Teachers Day with great enthusiasm and fanfare. A special assembly was conducted by the Jasmine House to commemorate Dr. Radha krishnan’s birth anniversary as teacher’s day. Harleen of class tenth delivered the speech telling the history and importance of the day. Anju and Jasmine of class 12th recited poems expressing their love and gratitude for their teachers. Some cultural items were performed to entertain the teachers and make their day really special .Fourteen teachers taking tenth and +2 were honoured for giving cent percent results in board classes.
Police DAV Public School Patiala Principal Meena Thapar delivered a motivating speech to inspire the teachers to work even harder to perform the pious duty of training the young minds. Teachers are the backbone of our society. They play a pronounced role in building up the character of students and mould them to become ideal citizens of the country. Teachers are the torch bearer of the next Generation She initiated to motivate the students to respect their teachers whole heartedly and to please them with their high ranks in exams. She shared some inspiring incidents from the life of great teacher and philosopher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as well.
