PSPCL Chairman Appointment; many serving, retired technocrats applied for the post

The power department of the state government had invited the applications for the post of chairman Punjab state power corporation limited (PSPCL).
The last date of applying for the said post was fixed as October 18,2021. But, the government changed the date and propone the apply date to October 14,2021.
As per sources around two dozen serving and retired technocrats have applied for the coveted post of chairman, Punjab state power corporation limited. Some serving directors, engineer-in-chiefs, chief engineers has also applied for the post of CMD PSPCL. A former CMD is also said to in the race for his second term.
“From today the Punjab power department has started scrutinizing the applications” said the source.
At present senior IAS office A Venu Prasad is the CMD of the Punjab state power corporation limited (PSPCL).
