PSPCL increases 5 percent charges for hiring powercom poles

Punjab state power corporation limited (PSPCL) today increased the rate for hiring of poles by the cable TV network, Cable TV operators, Broadband service providers.
As per the orders issued by the powercom 5 percent extra will be charged from the users for using PSPCL property, over the last year rate.
As per the available information, one the largest buyer of PSPCL poles in the state is the Fastway , the cable operator. They are paying a huge amount as monthly rent to the PSPCL. With the increase of rent, the burden of this excess amount will be borne by the consumer.
