Denied ticket by the ruling Congress to Nawanshahr sitting MLA Angad Singh Saini, who was also trying to get BJP ticket from Nawashahr to contest the upcoming Punjab assembly elections, lost the race and the saffron party allotted party symbol to its own worker Poonam Manik.
