The Election of Punjab & Sindh Bank Officers Federation (PSBOF-Bathinda Zone ) was held at Dunes club  Bathinda on Sunday, April 10,2022.

The election of office bearers of  Punjab & Sindh Bank Officers Federation (Bathinda Zone) (PSBOF) was held  under the supervision  of Charanjeev Joshi, General Secretary , North Zone and  Ashok Kumar, President , North Zone of the  body.

In this election, Vinay Bagga elected as Chairman and Senior Manager Arshdeep Singh Aulakh was elected Zonal Secretary of the body  ( Bathinda Zone ). While among other representatives, Sushil Kumar as Zonal President, Chairman Jaswant Singh Kalra ( North Zone), Zonal manager Pawan Kumar Bhatia and Yasmeen Sekhon as Women Representative.

Talking about the prime aims and objects of the Punjab & Sindh Bank Officers Federation (PSBOF) , Arshdeep Aulakh said, “We want to stop Privatisation so that nobody can snatch our hard earned Government Job in Zoom meeting calls as we saw this happening in the private sector in recent times,”.

He said scraping  the new Labour Codes,  No Privatisation of Banks/PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings), cancellation of New Pension Scheme (NPS) and restoration of  old pension scheme and Regularising contract workers will be our main priority issues.

Vinay Bagga , elected as chairman said Insurance facilities for frontline workers, Increase in public investment in agriculture, education, health, taxing rich people with wealth tax to  revive and revamp the national economy, controlling  price rise will also be main agenda of the Federation.

Yasmeen Sekhon ,women representative  said “Right of Child Care Leave is on our  agenda, so that a mother don’t need to leave her 5-6 month old child crying at home while forced to Join Office,”  she said .

Suhshil Kumar said “We want a five-day week to create the right balance in work and personal life.”
