Punjabi University launches a special App for placement preparation

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University launched a special mobile app to prepare students for placements. Dr. Navdeep Kanwal, teacher in-charge of the app development team, said that this ‘placement preparation app’ has been developed by third and second-year students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, which will be used by computer students as well as electronics, mechanical and civil engineering. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Raman Maini, Head of Computer Science and Engineering said that this app will be available for free on the Google Play Store and will be very helpful in preparing all the students of Punjabi University Patiala for placement.
Dr. Maini said that the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is making continuous efforts to prepare students for the best companies in the world. The app was jointly released by Dr. Raman Maini, Dr. Manjit Singh, Director, Placements and Dr. Jaswinder Singh, Placement Coordinator. Dr. Manjit Singh said in his address that a large number of Punjabi University students are selected every year in world class companies and the placement cell is constantly striving to create maximum opportunities for the future of the students.
On this occasion, Dr. Jaswinder Singh, Coordinator, Placement Cell congratulated the team of students and hoped that this app would be useful not only for Punjabi University but also for the preparation of placements for students of other colleges and universities. The main developers of the app, Rubalpreet and Rahul, said that the app would have a wide collection of quizzes as well as questions asked by the interviewer. In addition, students will be able to watch video lectures on placements in this app. Special tips for passing HR and technical interview are also included in this app.
Rubalpreet and Rahul said that this app will be constantly updated so that students can get all kinds of new information. Students Ritika Sharma, Renu Principal, Heena, Rohini and Naman have also played an important role in creating this app.
