PWD offices Statewide to plant fruit bearing trees-Vijayinder

Extending greetings to the people of Punjab on the Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, Vijayinder Singla PWD Minister Punjab informed that the entire Public Works Department will pay respect to the Great Guru, by promoting the State Mission of saving the environment, by ensuring plantation in every office of the department at head office, sub-divisional, divisional and circle level including the store and workshop areas. Official orders have been passed to all concerned to ensure plantation of fruit bearing trees as well as protecting the same with proper tree guards, said he.
On the 550th Birth Anniversary the Minister himself would partake in the plantation drive in the Quality Control Lab of the department at Patiala.
