Rupnagar Police launches drive against traffic violations

Rupnagar Police have launched a special drive against the traffic violators, especially those, who have modified the silencers of their bullet motor cycles on their own fancy wish, flouting traffic rules.
According to DSP Narinder Chaudhary this act of sparking silencer -fires- creates noise pollution and also infusing sense of insecurity among the general public.
During this special drive 30 bullet motorcycles impounded in the district and 40 motorcycles were challaned.
