Rusham proved golden girl of Eklavya warriors’ badminton academy

Keeping intact with the present prevailing sports culture , number of open district badminton matches were organised at polo ground patiala by Badminton association . In the series 3 day Mega event for Badminton players commenced on 18 th August 2021 , the endeavour was inaugurated by Sourav Jain renowned philanthropist and MD of Vardhman hospital .It is worth mentioning that these championships were organised under all the age categories , the venture witnessed large participation of as many as 150 children from district Patiala . The day demonstrated quite auspicious for Eklavya Badmintion academy as one of its prodigy Rusham captivated 4 gold medals while performing under number of age categories . She along with her double team partner Tanisha added icing on the cake when they together ,grabbed the gold medal in doubles too.
The other results of Eklavya warrior badminton academy are as under :
Ishan and Kartik U-15 : silver medal
And u-17 : gold medal
Nirbhay and Harkirat u-15 : Bronze medal
Abhimanyu scored bronze medal and assured his place in semifinal in under 11 single and 13 single category
Abeer and Abhimanyu attained bronze medal in doubles in under 13 category
Nirbhay U- 17 : bronze
Sargun U – 19 got silver medal
Tanisha u-15 silver medal .
The participants were prepared under the mentoring of Dr Jagdish Singh ,Manish Arora , Harpreet singh and Aryan Singh . The event was also closed by Sourav jain .
