Thapar alumnus Yogesh Tandon joins as director PSTCL

Er. Yogesh Tandon today joined as Director (Technical), Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL), at its head office in Patiala.

Yesterday, Punjab government had appointed Er Yogesh Tandon as Director (Technical), Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL), for a period of two years. He replaces Er Ajay Kumar Kapoor, director (Technical) PSTCL.

Tandon who belongs to Patiala, graduated from Thapar institute of engineering and technology, in the year 1984. He joined the erstwhile Punjab state electricity board in the year 1985, as a trainee engineer and rose to the level of chief engineer. In his long 34 years long career he served PSPCL/ PSTCL at various important positions. He has expertise in 66 kv grid operational transmission system, its maintenance, construction. Presently he is serving as chief engineer as P&M.

Thapar alumnus Yogesh Tandon joins as director PSTCL. On this occasion RP Pandove, director (administration), PSPCL, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Director (Administration), KK Sharma , PRTC along with other officials of PSPCL, PSTCL were also present on the occasion.

About PSTCL

Acting as State Transmission Utility (STU), PSTCL has been entrusted with the transmission business of the erstwhile Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB). Functions of State Load Despatch Center shall also be discharged by PSTCL.
