Thapar Institute celebrated Independence Day with patriotism
Patiala-Dr Gurbinder Singh, Registrar Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology ( TIET ) hoisted the National flag and addressed faculty, staff and students of the Institute. The students and children of employees presented patriotic songs, poems on the occasion.
Dr Gurbinder said in his address that Independence did not just happen overnight. It was earned after prolonged struggle by freedom fighters who worked for one common cause to see the country free. He expressed hope that every Independence Day will bring more changes for the betterment of the nation and a better future for our young generations.
