UN Day-home ministry issues order to flow UN flag along with National flag

Union home ministry has issue an order to all the chief secretaries, administrators all state governments/ UT administrators to flow United Nation Flag on the United Nations Day, to be celebrated on October 24.
As per the orders issued by deputy secretary, home ministry, Govt of India, “ on this day , the United Nations Flag is flown along with the Indian National Flag on all buildings, on which the National Flag is regularly flown in the states/ Union Territories. The United Nations Flag is, however NOT flown on Raj Bhawans/ Raj Niwases and buildings housing Legislative and High courts.’
