UT administration organized RT-PCR testing camp for COVID-19 at NITTTR Chandigarh campuses

Chandigarh Administration organized camps for RT-PCR Testing for COVID-19 at National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research campuses indifferent locations of Chandigarh illustrating their swiftness to spearhead the preventive measures to curb the rise in the COVID cases on 25th May, 2021 and 27th May, 2021.

As a part to the camp in NITTTR Campus, Sector 29A, Chandigarh 66 persons have been tested on 25thMay, 2021; and the camp in NITTTR Campus, Sector 26, Chandigarh around 100persons have been tested on 27thMay, 2021 comprising of faculty, staff (including contractual and mess/canteen staff members and workers), studentsand their family members. In the previous camps more than 120 persons were tested on 27th April, 2021 and 155 persons were tested on 28th April, 2021.

Also, the institute employees and their families residing at other Institute Campuses such as in Sectors 29 and 42 or even outside the Institute Campuses were communicated to take advantage of the camps and several employees got themselves and their family members tested.

The coordination from NITTTR Chandigarh side witha very fine arrangement was done by Dr. Meenakshi Sood along with support of  Rakesh Goel,  Vijay Kumar Sharma,  Nasib Singh under the dynamic leadership of Prof. S.S. Pattnaik, Director, NITTTR, Chandigarh leadingasmooth conduct of the Camps.

As on date it accounts to 4 such camps hosted by NITTTR, Chandigarh nevertheless with the indispensable support of Chandigarh Administration and concerned Medical Teams thereby leaving no stone under turned in timely detection, isolation and treatment of the COVID-19 positive members of the institute.
