UT Adviser issues new restrictions for public holi celebrations; closed entry in key areas

UT Adviser issues new restrictions for public holi celebrations; closed entry in key areas

On Monday, in view of the rising COVID cases, the UT Administration imposed a slew of restrictions, including ban on all sorts of Holi gatherings in the city and shutting down of schools, colleges till March 31.

Today, extending the restrictions, UT Adviser Manoj Parida issues an orders of “closure of all public government parks, Sukhna lake area and Sector 17 Plaza and will remain out of bound for public holi celebrations “

As per todays orders, “the above restrictions on entry to these places will remain valid from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM on 29-3-2021 (Monday), only.

Earlier, UT Administrator V P Singh Badnore had directed that all public Holi Milan gatherings will be banned. “The clubs, hotels, restaurants etc will not allow any ceremonial gatherings for Holi. ”

The UT administration has directed all the resident to celebrate holi under covid protocol.
