World University organizes Environment Awareness rally

An environmental awareness rally was organized by the students of the Agriculture Department of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Khehra and Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Pritpal Singh flagged off the rally from the university campus. In this rally, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur,in-charge of the department, faculty members, staff and students took part. This rally was organized with the direction of Assistant Director Youth Welfare Center, Fatehgarh Sahib.
During this rally students through various mediums motivated and encouraged the villagers to not burn the paddy straw and conserve the environment. This rally was started from the university and reached village Madhopaland then ended at Ativali village. On the occasion of the rally, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof (Dr.) S.S.Khehra said that it is the duty of every human being to take care of the environment as life on this earth will survive if we conserve the environment.
