YPS organised Environment Education, Cultural Trip to Japan

Yadavindrians got yet another chance to explore experience and evolve. Yadavindra Public School, Patiala organised  OISCA-ASAHI’s Environment Educational and Cultural Study Program trip to Japan under the patronage of The Organisation for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement(OISCA)- International in cooperation with ASAHI Travels.

On March 27, 2018, a group of 16 students along with two teachers left for Japan. During the seven day trip (March 27-April 3) students experienced the world’s most advanced technologies (space, electronic and locomotive) and also the ancient and disciplined culture of Japan.

The comprehensive itinerary had been provided to the students. Their environment trip started by learning how to make Bonsai, which is an ancient Japanese form of growing a small tree in a small container. Next day they visited Nissan factory to learn about the latest technology used in automotive industry and Tokyo Tower (height 333 meters), which is the world’s tallest self-supporting steel tower.

Next day they visited Miraikan, the most advanced and innovative museum in the world. Students enjoyed watching human faced android and also met and communicated with the famous Japanese Robot called ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility), a humanoid robot designed and developed by Honda.

After the captivating Japanese technology session, they attended Waste Management Class where they learned how to recycle the goods by reducing waste.

Their trip to Japan also included visits to Mount Fuji (5th station), Japan’s highest mountain, Kyoto, Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for Atomic Bomb victims and Universal Studios.

YPS gives immense opportunities to its students to explore and widen their horizons. This program offers a lifetime opportunity for students to get inspired and bring out the young environmentalist, entrepreneur, scientist, an artist or a historian in him/her.
