Dr. Pritpal Singh appointed officiating Vice Chancellor of World University

The Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sukhdarshan Singh Khehra of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, FatehgarhSahib has resigned. Dr. Pritpal Singh, Dean Faculty of Basic & Applied Sciences and Registrar has been given the charge as officiating Vice-Chancellor till further orders.

Dr. Sukhdarshan Singh Khehra was appointed as Vice Chancellor on September 2017, after serving almost for six months as acting VC. He joined after then V-C Dr. Gurmohan Singh Walia resigned from the post.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib is a charitable and humanitarian project undertaken by the SGPC to impart higher education to learners belonging to all creeds, castes and religions. The University was set up in 2011 to commemorate the historic event of 400th Anniversary of compilation and the first installation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The University Campus is a unique architectural marvel spread over 140 acres of land.
