Lakhs of devotees participated in a Nagar Kirtan bought out on the last day of Jor Mel at Fatehgarh Sahib to pay a homage to Mata Gujri, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh.
Todayโs Nagar Kirtan started from Gurudwara Fatehgarh Sahib at 9 AM in the morning to Gurudwara Jyoti Swarup, to mark an end of three day Jor Mel to commemorate the unmatched sacrifice of Mata Gujri, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh.
Students of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University,regions first Autonomous College Mata Gujri College, Khalsa Gatka wore Blue, White and Orange colour turbans and participated in the nagar kirtan.The Ardas at Gurudwara Jyoti Swarup was performed by Takht Anandpur Sahib Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh.
Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee President Gobind Singh Longowal, MLA Fatehgarh Sahib Kuljit Singh Nagra along with SGPC members and other dignitaries participated in the nagar kirtan.
Deputy Commissioner Fatehgarh Sahib Kanwalpreet Brar, SSP Fatehgarh Sahib Alka Meena thanked the devotees, residents , NGOโs on the successful completion of Jor Mel.
