Mata Gujri College celebrated National Voters Day at college premises along with district administration of Fatehgarh Sahib.
Deputy Commissioner of Fatehgarh Sahib Kanwalpreet Brar was the chief guest of the day. Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh welcomed the Chief Guest and said that the youth should understand the importance of right to vote because only youth can bring a change in our society.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Ms. Kanwalpreet Brar said that after 18 years, everybody gets the right to vote and all should make the right use of it. As the youth should play a positive role in bringing change in society. Therefore, first of all, we need to make proper use of our wisdom. On this occasion, new voter cards were also distributed.
