The last song of Shubhdeep Singh alias Sidhu Moosewala , released on his official Youtube channel,after his death, has been banned in India, on  government’s demand.

The song based on Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) was officially dropped on singer’s official YouTube channel on Thursday only, and had become a massive hit within minutes of its release, crossing the landmark of 1 million views in the first 30 minutes. “SYL” song has 27 million plus views in just 2 days.

The song talks about about undivided Punjab, its water dispute with Haryana, the 1984 Sikh riots, Sikh militants and prisoners, as well as the recent Nishan Sahib flag hoisting at the Red Fort during the farmer agitation.
