Pbi Uni extends admission date for third time till Sept 29

Officials at Punjabi University have once again decided to extend the date for admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in the university campus, regional centres and neighbourhood campuses of Punjabi University till September 29, 2018
In a letter signed by Assistant Registrar (General) Paramjeet Kaur, it has categorically been mentioned that the extension is being done to fill vacant seats in first semester, except B.Tech courses.
This is the third time that the university has extended the date for admission to courses for the current session.ย The university has issued a circular to all the regional centres and neighbourhood campuses head.
The letter issued by ย Punjabi University Patiala Assistant Registrar (General) Paramjeet Kaur said that these admissions will be done in anticipation with, to get the clearance from the Academic council.
The ย students who are admitted in September will be left with less than two months to prepare for the semester exams to be held in November and December.
Officials of the University, said: โWe are admitting students to departments where seats have been left vacant. The students will also be given extra classes whenever required.โ
