Punjabi University has launched a Portal for Online booking for its Holiday Homes.

This online Portal of Punjabi University, Patiala was inaugurated by Dr. Inderjit Singh Dean Academic Affairs and Dr. Manjeet Singh Nijjer Registrar Punjabi University, Patiala. This portal includes booking of rooms at holiday homes of Punjabi University situated at Shimla, Andretta and Dehradun. 15 days prior data for booking will be available on the website. Dr. Prabhleen Singh In charge of all guest houses of Punjabi University told that this was the long pending demand of university employees and this portal will prove beneficial not only for campus employees but for employees of constituent colleges and of 275 affiliated colleges also. He also told that Payment gateway will also be made available on this portal very soon and next step would be to start online booking of guest houses available on campus.
Mr. Nishu Sharma system analyst has prepared this portal. Others present on this occasion were Dr. Ran Singh Professor in charge Guest House, Dr. Kanwaljit Singh Director Computer Centre, Dr. Jaswinder Singh.
