Scholar Field Public School celebrated Diwali with great zeal and the school was well decked with coloured lights and lamps. Students decorated their class rooms and made attractive patterns of Rangoli . Diya and Candle making competitions witnessed a huge response from the students. The winners were appreciated by all.
The school Director S.S. Sodhi encouraged all to celebrate an environment, safe Diwali expressing a big “No” to crackers. He also put light on the significance of this festival as it is known as Deepawali , Bandi Chhor Diwas and Kartik Parv . To propound the idea of clean & green diwali , A team of welfare club “ Mission Laali Te Haryaali “ too arrived at school to encourage the students to celebrate cracker free diwali . The students presented speeches related to the occasion and relished sweets. Wishing the whole staff a happy diwali the school management distributed gifts to all .
